The amount of honey in the nest will increase when the bees return back to the nest, also, the amount of honey can be determined by the texture of the nest itself, there are 5 levels. The screenshot shows the 5th level:

To collect honey, you need to right-click on the nest with an empty flask, while you should "stupefy" the bees, put a source of smoke under the nest, such as a fire, otherwise, the bees will be aggressive and kill you.

Also, you can collect honeycombs from nests using scissors, simply by right-clicking on the nest. You should not break the bees' nest, as they will become aggressive towards you, and even a fire will not help.

Bee hive

Let's move on to the beehive. To create it, we need: 6 boards of any type and 3 honeycombs.

An alternative to a bee's nest, that is, it performs the same function. It has the same properties as a nest, only the hive can be broken with an ax and it will fall out, but the nest will only fall out if it is destroyed with a silk touch tool. Hive level 5:

It can be created using four bottles of honey, and they will be returned to you after crafting. The texture of the block is viscous and therefore the walking speed on it decreases, while it can soften the fall. Mobs will not walk on it and will avoid it; redstone does not conduct a signal.

Honeycomb block

It is created using 4 honeycombs and is essentially just a decorative block. When destroyed, it drops, but the honeycombs cannot be returned.

New items

A bottle of honey

Suitable for consumption, restores 6 satiety. Like other bottles, it stacks into a stack of 16 pieces. An empty bottle can be filled using a beehive or a bee's nest. There is also a craft from 1 block of honey and 4 empty bottles. Used to create sugar, in the amount of 3 pieces:

New mobs

Bee

Has 10 health units. Live in groups near hives and nests. A hive can contain up to 3 bees at most. Avoid any contact with water, so if a bee is aggressive, you can hide under water for a while. Because of this fear of water, they sleep in the rain.

If you attack a hive or a bee, then all the bees nearby will attack you, similar to wolves, the texture also changes:

If, after all, a bee attacks you, then you will be subject to a poisoning debuff for 10 seconds, and after a while (approximately 50-60 seconds) the attacking bee will die from loss of its sting:

Bees can be bred using different flowers, and bees will follow you if you hold a flower in your hands. With some chance, after a flower is pollinated by a bee, the growth of the plant may accelerate.

Will search for a hive and nest all over the world, and when found, will immediately occupy it and begin collecting honey from flowers. At the same time, the honey level in the nest increases only after the bee leaves.
