Enhanced Mushrooms for Minecraft 1.17
How about turning existing giant mushrooms into some kind of wood? Especially for this, it will be enough to use the Enhanced Mushrooms add-on for Minecraft, which changes the wood generation system and allows you to use completely new units.
It will be enough to just walk around the interactive world, look for tall mushrooms and get the necessary materials from them. And as soon as you have a lot of space for cultivating the soil, you can grow a new type of wood yourself, focused on fungal origin. We wish you a pleasant game!
How to install the modification:
First step: Download and install Fabric and Fabric API.
Second step: download the mod file.
Third step: copy the Enhanced Mushrooms mod package to the .minecraft/mods section (if this folder does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
