In order to get a new compass panel, which will display various objects, which definitely include other players, various mobs, waymarks, as well as the distances between them, you need to pay attention to the following modification for Minecraft 1.16.2, which called Advanced Compass.

The changes described above in the game interface will take effect immediately after successful installation (and if you encounter any problems with the installation, you can refer to the instructions on this page).

How to install the modification:

First step: Download and install Fabric and Fabric API.

Second step: download the mod file.

Third step: copy the Advanced Compass mod package to the .minecraft/mods section (if this folder does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
