Install the texture pack:

Start here by downloading a texture pack using this link.

Second step: Unzip and copy Bare Bones folder to gamescom.mojangresource_packs (if it does not already exist).

Third Step: In-game, head into Settings, locate Texture Sets and click the Control button; this will activate an already existing texture pack in left list that you copied over; click it so it becomes the primary texture pack on right list.
