The mechanic works not only for arrows, but also for other items such as chicken eggs, snowballs, potions and even stones from your inventory. Quite convenient for leveling up your accuracy skill, especially if your targets are too far away or hidden in the darkness of the night.
How to install the modification:
First step: Download and install Fabric and Fabric API.
Second step: download the mod file.
Third step: copy the Trajectory Preview mod package to the .minecraft/mods section (if this folder does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
