Don’t you understand how this works? Simply put, there will be another column above the main slots. Thanks to this, you can quickly swap items in your hands. This feature will come in handy in many game aspects, for example, combat. After all, you can easily move between food and a sword, or any other items. This function is easy to use since you only need to click the Alt key and roll the mouse wheel to select the items you want to swap.
How to install the modification:
First step: download and install Fabric and Fabric API.
Second step: download the mod file.
Third step: copy the Inventory Hotswap mod package to the .minecraft/mods folder (if it does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).
